Fourth and Blanchard Building

Seattle Tourist Attractions--Downtown Architecture

Built 1979

The Fourth and Blanchard Building (a.k.a. "The Darth Vader Building") cuts a distinctive profile in Seattle's skyline.  This 25 story building features two acutely angled towers that share a common core.   The building is covered in black reflective glass.

The lobbies of the two towers are really attractive and feature a lot of marble.

I think the best view of the building is from the north looking south because you can get views that are fairly unobstructed.  Views looking north can be obstructed by other structures.
