Seattle Tourist Attractions--Downtown Architecture
Restored in 2008
1010 Fifth Avenue
This beautiful building and its grand lawn offer a nice counterpoint to the futuristic Seattle library building across the street. This was originally built as the United States Federal Courthouse and it served that function until 2004 when the Courthouse was moved to its new home at 700 Stewart Street. The Nakamura Courthouse building now houses the Ninth District Court of Appeals.
