Dale Chihuly Glass Art Tower at Seattle University

Dale Chihuly         Accendo

This building is noted as a tourist attraction because its atrium lobby features a gorgeous glass tower from Dale Chihuly's studios.  The tower measures 21 feet tall and is 2.6 feet thick.  Entitled "Accendo", it was installed in 2006 and it was the first permanent Chihuly tower installation in the Seattle area. Lovers of Chihuly's glass art should see this installation. It is yellow, orange, and red.

This building is close to our other recommended architectural structure on the campus--the ethereal Chapel of St. Ignatius.
