Waterfall Garden Park
Seattle Attractions--Pioneer Square District
South Main Street and Second Avenue
One really nice surprise in the Pioneer Square District is Waterfall Garden Park.
This little secluded haven was built by UPS as to honor the place where UPS was founded in 1907. When you enter the brick structure with steel gratings, you leave downtown Seattle behind and enter a different world. Highlighted by a 22 foot waterfall, this park has a number of tables and benches where you can rest your feet and enjoy the lovely landscaping in the park. The park has its own security force.
Stop at the Grand Central Bakery or Caffe Umbria and pick up a coffee and something to eat and stroll over to this park to enjoy a quiet place to rest your feet and get refreshed.
