Many bus routes will drop you off near the market. The Westlake Center Station for buses and trains is only four blocks from the Pike Place Clock.
Information Booth and Market Maps

Seattle Visitors' Bureau Pike Place Market Information Booth
You can obtain helpful maps of PPM and the Pike Place Times newspaper at the information booth located at First and Pike. The Pike Place Times is loaded with useful information and vendor directories about PPM. This booth is also one of the two information booths run by the Seattle Convention and Visitors' Bureau so the staff can answer any tourism questions about the Market and all of the Seattle area.
Please click here to go to our web page map of PPM.
The official web site operated by the PPM development authority has a lot of information about the history of the market and visitor information.
The main level of PPM is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Sunday, the hours are 11 to 5 p.m.
The DownUnder shops are open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
PPM is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
Restrooms are located one floor beneath the Arcade at the south end and at the north end. On the south end, go downstairs from Pike Place Fish. On the north end, follow the ramp down from City Fish. Look for the restrooms sign.
As we note elsewhere in our on-line guide to Seattle, parking in downtown is expensive and a car is a liability to enjoying your visit to downtown Seattle. If you can, ride public transportation to PPM.
PPM has an official parking lot at 1531 Western Avenue (behind the market).
Rates are $4.00 per hour for the first three hours.
