The Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden is located on the splendid campus of the Weyerhauser Company.  This 22 acre garden is magnificent in spring when its 600 varieties of rhododendrons put on a real show.  Parking for the gardens is adjacent to the Weyerhaeuser headquarters building, an architectural showpiece that is designed to fit into the landscaping.   You should spend a few minutes enjoying the lovely landscaping around the Weyerhaeuser headquarters building.

Rhododendron Species Botanic Garden


The Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden offers a variety of special areas that feature a large sample of rhododendron and other plants.  You can easily spend an hour or more strolling around the many sections of this garden.

The garden is located between Seattle and Tacoma. There is a modest admission charge.  Directions and more information are at the website for the garden.
