Holy Names Academy, founded in 1880, is a Catholic all-women college preparatory high school. It has a student population of 655. It has received the U.S. Department of Education's prestigious Blue Ribbon School citation four times. The Blue Ribbon School designation is the highest award a school can earn. Only six schools in the U.S. have won the Blue Ribbon School award four times.
