Chocolate Box
Seattle Tourist Attractions--Coffee Houses
108 Pine Street
Pike Place Market Area
One of the prettiest shops in Seattle is the Chocolate Box. The primary mission of this shop is to sell chocolate and they have a lot of it to sell. This is an elegant shop that is a treat to look at and one that sells many treats.
This shop has a lovely coffee bar. They serve a delicious cup of your favorite coffee beverage or a cup of their signature hot chocolate.
The dining area looks out of the front of the store and across to Pike Place Market.
Besides the chocolate, this shop will tempt you with gelato as well as pastries. Just keep telling yourself that you are on vacation--the diet starts later.
I recently stopped off in the Chocolate Shop for my first visit. I am looking forward to future visits to this attractive shop.

One tourist activity that looks really interesting is their Chocolate Box Experience. This three hour morning tour starts and ends at the Chocolate Box. You go to a local chocolate factory for a tour. You learn how to make your own chocolate treats and find out the entire story of how a simple bean is turned into one of the most delicious treats on the planet. The description of this tour makes it sound like a really great way to spend a few hours and learn a lot about chocolate.
