SEATTLE ART MUSEUM (DOWNTOWN)
The Seattle Art Museum actually has three locations. The downtown Museum is a nice destination for art lovers. You can spend several hours enjoying its wide-ranging collection of art. If you don't have time for a full visit, just step inside the main entrance and enjoy the collection of Taurus cars that decorate the lobby.

SEATTLE ASIAN ART MUSEUM
This location of the Seattle Art Museum is housed in a historic Art Deco building at Volunteer Park. It is one of America's best collections of Asian Art. Make this museum part of a visit to Volunteer Park, one of the highest-rated places to visit in Seattle. The museum building rests gracefully in the lavish landscaping in the Park.

OLYMPIC SCULPTURE PARK
This is the third campus for the Seattle Art Museum. It is basically an 9 acre outdoor art museum complete with dramatic views and spectacular landscaping. Even if art doesn't turn you on, this is one of the must see places in Seattle.

FRYE ART MUSEUM
Frye Art Museum Grand Salon
The Frye is a delightful, small art museum. It is one of those places where you can see the art in a hour and take a nice break in its cafe. The Frye has a lovely historic collection and it typically offers an exhibition of contemporary art. The Frye is part of the delights of walking around Seattle's First Hill district. If you are in Seattle for a few days, put the Frye on your list of places to visit.

HENRY ART GALLERY
This museum on the University of Washington campus focuses on contemporary art and has a sizable photography collection. See this museum when you make a visit to see the architecture and landscaping at the University.

MUSEUM OF GLASS (TACOMA)
One of the most beautiful destinations in the Puget Sound area is the Museum of Glass in Tacoma. The Museum of Glass is a gorgeous, contemporary museum featuring outstanding architecture and stunning pieces of glass art. The magnificent Chihuly Bridge of Glass is part of this museum. TACOMA ART MUSEUM
This museum features the largest public collection of Dale Chihuly's art as part of its permanent collection. The museum building is an elegant structure.

CHIHULY GARDEN AND GLASS EXHIBITION
This is a dazzling new attraction at Seattle Center. It is a permanent exhibition dedicated to the significant contribution to the world of glass art by Dale Chihuly. The exhibition does a masterful job of presenting Chihuly’s resplendent glass art in indoor galleries, a glasshouse, and in a lovely series of outdoor garden installations. This is a must see attraction for Seattleites and for Seattle visitors that appreciate art and botanical gardens.

This museum is housed in Seattle's most unusual building. The EMP is a fun destination that features excellent exhibits about the history of rock music with an emphasis on Jimi Hendrix. Science fiction buffs will also enjoy the science fiction offerings.

KLONDIKE GOLD RUSH NATIONAL HISTORIC PARK MUSEUM
This museum attracts over 60,000 visitors annually. It is part of a multiple location park in the United States and Canada that documents the last major gold rush in north America. Seattle had an important role in the Klondike gold rush and this interesting museum educates you about that role.

LEMAY--AMERICA'S CAR MUSEUM
The latest addition to the fine collection of museums in Seattle and Tacoma is Tacoma’s LeMay--America’s Car Museum. This museum will become one of the greater Seattle area’s major attractions. This is a must see for anyone spending more than one day in Seattle. It is one of the Seattle area's best attractions. MUSEUM OF HISTORY AND INDUSTRY
The Museum of History and Industry moved into its new home on Lake Union in 2012. This is a must see attraction for Seattleites and visitors. The opening of the sparkling, renovated, historic Naval Armory building in Lake Union Park began a bold new chapter for the Museum. The Grand Atrium is a delightful architectural attraction and it is filled with attractive historic objects and exciting exhibits from Seattle’s past. Block out several hours to experience the Museum and then continue your enjoyment with a walk around Lake Union Park, the Historic Ships Collection, and the Center for Wooden Boats.

PACIFIC SCIENCE CENTER
The Pacific Science Center in Seattle Center is all about educating kids about science. It has a many hands on exhibits, two IMAX theaters, and a planetarium. Some of the popular exhibits include the butterfly house, the dinosaurs, and the insect village.
