Mount Rainier National Park
Seattle Tourism--Attractions Outside of Seattle
If you are in the Seattle area for a few days, consider making a day trip or an overnight trip to see this majestic national park. Mt. Rainier National Park is 90 miles from downtown Seattle and it takes two and a half hours to drive to the park from Seattle. The 14,410 foot cone of Mt. Rainier is visible on many days from the Seattle area and even at a distance of 90 miles, it still commands the scenery in Seattle’s southern horizon.
