Author: Ingrid Emerick
Published in 2009
This is a set of 50 cards that offer suggested walks in the Seattle area. The cards are thick cardboard and are 3.5 inches by 5.5 inches. On one side of the cards is a numbered map. The numbers refer to places where you can sightsee, shop, eat, and do other activities. On the other side of the card is a brief description of the area covered by the walk and a detailed write up about each numbered item on the tour. The cards are small enough (3.5 by 5.5 inches) to fit in a shirt pocket. There is an index that lists all of the cards.
A sample listing of the 50 walks are:
- Pioneer Square
- Pike Place Market
- University of Washington
- Seattle Center
- Volunteer Park
This set of cards is well-written and informative and it is an excellent and handy resource to use in doing in-depth exploration of the Seattle area. Armed with this set of cards and the Eyewitness Travel: Top 10 Seattle guide, you will be well-equipped to sightsee in Seattle.
